Pin It Wednesday

This "Pin It Wednesday" business has become something of a hit, so I'm not going to mess with it.  Instead, I'll add to it.  What do you think?  Isn't a little more of a good thing a good idea?

More of a good thing means more quilting, of course!  So here's some of my recent finds for the board "quilting, inspiration" which I originally meant to be my quilting inspiration, but alas, I can't replicate this!  I mean, check out the even lines, the beautiful feathers, those tiny pebbles.....

Wait, what about the repeat of the designs...no way I can stick with any one design long enough to pull that off.  I may as well share them.  Hope you find something to inspire you, but even better, here's hoping that you can actually replicate at least part of some of these.

Have you noticed that a couple of the quilts are from the same artist?  I've discovered that I really like a particular kind of quilting.....but it also happens to be the kind of quilting that I can not do.  I'm not unhappy with my abilities, but the reality is that I'm not Karen McTavish, or Judi of Green Fairy Quilts, or Emma from Sampaguita Quilts or any of the other artists on my board.  I can only be inspired by their work to quilt in my own little style, no matter how sad in comparison (but let's not compare).

Happy Quilting,
Mary
