Pin It Weekly #69

Welcome back to New Orleans!  I've noticed that there's a particular orangey-red color of most of the walls in the French Quarter and a rich, dark forest green on most of the doors.  I am in love with those colors. In some of these photos (all from Pinterest) the green is a brighter, lighter color, almost a yellowy green.  I haven't seen this particular color but I didn't look for it either.

There are some other colors, of course, but the majority of the buildings seem to fit into this color scheme.  The wrought iron, of course, is basic black and very ornamental.

These photos are from our recent trip to New Orleans. As we walked around the city with the grandchildren, I snapped pictures of some of my favorite places.

Perfect example of the orange/red and dark green.
