Sunday Quilt Inspiration: SHOES

Richard is right now having a fit over a pair of shoes that a granddaughter "borrowed" to run to town. She didn't want to wear her heels, so she slipped into his crocs. You don't imagine she asked permission, do you? I told her no, but well, the granddaughter is Jolie. The struggle is real, y'all. 


So shoes...

First, there are many paper-pieced shoe blocks available on Pinterest.

And there are many quilts about shoes or with shoes on them and a few shoes that are of the odd variety. See what I mean...

I'm off to mediate between the thief and the owner of those crocs. You get to go make a shoe quilt!  

Sunday Quilt Inspiration: Paper Crafts

I know, right? Paper bags to inspire quilts? I hope so.

And the moment of truth...which is that Pinterest gets a bit confused with the search term "paper bag quilts." I get it. It's not a normal search phrase, but I'm not anything close to normal. In the end I had to relinquish and let Pinterest have a win. I do have some things going on tomorrow that requires my being up an some insane time of the morning. It's so early, that I won't even mention it. So here's what Pinterest offered--bags, paper piecing, and EPP. 

Then there are the paper crafts made to look like a quilt. Well, couldn't this inspire us?

And so a few paper piecing patterns that I just couldn't resist...

I suppose we'll call this one a bust. It's not bad I suppose, but I like the rules of finding quilts inspired by the inspiration theme. Ha, does that even make sense? Even more important, did YOU find some inspiration in today's post?
