Sunday Quilt Inspiration: B R I G H T S

Bright lights, bright gift wrap, bright faces...everything seems to be bright and cheerful and happy at this time of year.  That said, let's take a look at few bright, happy things and let them inspire a couple of bright, happy quilts.

"The Carousel" Russian patchwork quilt.  We recognize the pattern as "Untitled" by Karen K. Stone

The pattern is in this book "The Modern Quilt Workshop" by Weeks Ringle and Bill Kerr and is called Outside the Box.

Intersting quilting - think its just 6 really big blocks - wonder if it was quilt as you go??? Hmmmm
